The village of Solishta is located at the edge of the most picturesque Perelishki area in the Middle Rodopi, located in the valley of the Lukovitsa River, which is a tributary of Shirokolashka and Vacha Rivers. There are beautiful views of the magnificent Perelik peak at the south of the village – 2191m, Shilesta Chuka peak, Orpheus peak – 2189m and Turlata Fortress. The north of the village is just on the edge of the forest reserve "Chernocheto" which is overgrown with venerable black pine-trees and the Solitski Peak protects the village from the cold northern wind and strongly influences the temperate and mild climate. At the foot of Solitski Peak there is an exquisite botanical garden with exotic plants. To the east there are lush lawns and pastures, which are encircled by many types of venerable trees. The altitude of the village is 1300m. 4 km of asphalt road connects the village to the architectural-ethnographic village of Shiroka Laka. The village is 12 km away from the Pamporovo resort and 25 km away from the towns of Smolyan, Chepelare and Devin it is just 100 km away from the cultural city of Plovdiv. The climate is mild – cool summers, mild winters with lots of snow and sun, perfect conditions for ski sports and mountain tourism
