Many attractive routes start from here to the 2 925 m. high Musala peak ( the highest peak on the Balkan Peninsula ), to Borovets and Malyovitza resorts,  the Seven Rila Lakes, Vada, Chakar Voyvoda, Yastrebetz and Granchar chalets and  Tzarska Bistritza palace.

The greatest advantage of Beli Iskar is that it is located close to the Rila National Park. This is the largest natural reserve in Bulgaria. The  total area of the reserve is 12 393,7 ha spreading its territory around Beli Iskar and the Musala summit.  Just only 1 km away from the village  starting Beli Iskar Eco – Walk.There are many sights in the park, but most interesting are the wild animals which can be seen at any time of the year and the day. The animals and also the rare plants are protected by and registered in the Red Book.
