Planinec hut is situated in the heart of Vitosha mountain - a sure prerequisite for pleasant moments not only in the tavern, but also for long walks to some tourist attractions.

At this instant there are places for 62 tourists/guest, and apart from other Vitosha huts there are no huge rooms with 10-15 beds (the so called tourist-rooms). Most of the dormitories are for 2-3 persons. The only big dormitory is rather an apartment with two separate rooms, suitable for a family with children. Nearly half of the dormitories have their own bathroom - a feature, that is still not offered in most Vitosha huts. The hut has its own, independent heating system, so the guests will not complaint about the low temperature.

There is a folk-style tavern with some 60 seats on the first floor of the hut - a place suitable for both party or just to drink a cup of coffee or tea after a long stroll. A professional cook (one of the best in all the Vitosha huts, and not only there) will take care of your meals..
